These are not Genuine Oster made parts. I made the mistake of ordering 2. The blades are ice repellant. They won't crush ice very well at all. The seller's return policy requires their receipt that was sent with the product. I tossed that before ever testing the blades. Live and learn. I just received genuine Oster blades from another vendor on Amazon and they work perfectly.

Works & I can keep using the blender. Buying a new one would be cheap too, but I am thinking about earth.

this replacement part was purchased because the seal on the original was leaking. The new product does not leak. It is sharp and has remained so in spite of our chopping ice with it for some time now. It looks identical to the original. I thought the cost was reasonable. We are completely satisfied with the product, the service and the price.

I feel like the blender isn't working quite as well as it used to with this blade. I'm wondering if maybe I should have gotten the ice crusher blade instead. This blade is still fine, though. Certainly beats buying a whole new blender! My blender is four years old, and this is the second time I've had to replace the blade. If one day your blender will turn on but the blade doesn't move at all, that's when it's time to replace the blade!
